Stella Atrium ~ Author, Chicago resident. Her first science fiction novel, The Goulep was released in 1997 and her second novel, Seven Beyond is due out in the Fall of 1998. Stella also writes commentary articles for Eternity OL, a speculative fiction magazine. She holds a BA in writing and is currently a MFA candidate in Creative Writing.

David Borcherding ~ Editor at Writers Digest Magazine, Cincinnati, Ohio, Editor of The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Source Book Second Edition. He has worked with Ben Bova on his Science Fiction Writing Series. His other interests include mysteries, nanotechnology, molecular biotechnology, space and time travel.

C.M. Brown ~ Comes to Ohio Fandom from New York City. A long time science fiction and anime fan, he is also an experienced Director, Action Director, Editor, Cameraman, Stunt Fighter and accomplished martial artist. C.M. resides in Cincinnati where he teaches martial arts.

Juanita Coulson ~ Author, life long fan, renowned filker, songwriter, publisher of the fanzine YANDRO, well known huckster room dealer and former GOH at MILLENNICON.

Robert "Buck" Coulson ~ Author and co-author of several books, editor, longtime fan , publisher of the fanzine YANDRO and former FGOH at MILLENNICON.

Hal Clement ~ Hugo Award winning author, former science instructor, active convention attendee and literacy advocate. He resides in Milton, Massachusetts with his wife. He is a long time Fandom and MILLENNICON favorite and a former GOH of MILLENNICON. Hal is famous for his tireless hard work in fandom, pro literacy work and his fans which range from First Fandom to grade school SF discoverers.

Doug Drummond ~ Chicago fan, representative of the Golden Duck Awards, and self admitted technical and computer wizard. Doug is a private pilot and Young Eagles volunteer in addition to his convention planning and convention operations. He has been a frequent World Con programming participant and awards presenter for the Golden Duck Awards. His other mundane interests and occupations have included the internet and satellite navigation.

Mark Evans ~ Ohio fan and convention organizer from Columbus, Ohio. Mark is a long time science fiction fan, convention planner and organizer and one of our Auctioneers this year as well.

Dave Fran ~ Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Agents of Gaming, producers of the new miniature game Babylon 5. Dave has worked for notable gaming companies USPC (X-Files), and has a legendary career with Games Workshop and is one of the foremost authorities on miniature gaming in the industry.

Fyberdyne Laboratories A costuming co-op specializing in large, difficult, intricate and technical costuming and props. Tony Truitt, Mike Bolin and Mark Shidler are three of the talented members. Tony and Mike specialize in plastics and vacuum forming. Mark handles surface finishing and is one of the groups main tailors. They have garnered many masquerade and costuming awards around the country.

Helen Gbala ~ Chicago fan, representative of the Golden Duck Awards. She is a long time fan who enjoys convention planning and convention operations. She has been a frequent World Con programming participant and awards presenter for the Golden Duck Awards. Helen is a literacy and children's SF advocate as well as being a "power librarian."

Robert Glass ~ President of Agent of Gaming, and lead designer for the Babylon 5 Miniature game.

Doug Houseman ~ Doug is a long time Detroit fan and convention planner and has worked on many WorldCon committees as well. He is a computer professional with an avid interest in the space program, technology and our future in space.

Maureen McHugh ~ Maureen is originally from southwestern Ohio , attended Ohio University and earned her master's degree in English Literature at New York University. She has worked as a college instructor, office worker and technical writer. She has lived in New York City and Shijiazhuang China. She now lives with her husband in Cleveland, Ohio where she is now a full time writer. Her first novel, China Mountain Zhang won the James Tiptree Jr. Award, The Lambda Literary Award, the LOCUS Poll for best first novel and was nominated for a Hugo and Nebula in 1992.

Joseph P. Martino ~ Expert, author and speaker on Technology forecasting and assessment and space program applications. He is a frequent attendee at regional conventions and resides in Sidney, Ohio.

Josef and Kit Matulich ~ Award winning professionals in the makeup and costuming arts, long time fans, active convention goers residing in Columbus, Ohio. Their showmanship, stunning costume work and makeup designs have made them celebrated at many WorldCons and masquerades around the country.

Dave May ~ Works for USPC as a consumer response representative, gamer extrordinaire, knower of all gamer gossip, and lead man for continuing work on USPC's X-Files ccg. Keeper of the truth that is out there.

Applewhite Minyard ~ Teacher of science fiction at Hocking College in southeastern Ohio for the past five years, participant in state and national conferences on various aspects of SF, expert on early science fiction authors. He is the author of a science fiction textbook, titled The Decade of Science Fiction, which combines an overview of historical and scientific events with notes on the development of SF as a respected genre, covering Jules Verne to the present. It is scheduled to be published in July of 1997 by the national Textbook Company.

Jack Nimersheim ~ Full time writer of fiction and non fiction. He has published 27 books, over 1,000 magazine articles and two dozen SF short stories. He was the 1994 nominee for The John W. Campbell Award for Best New Science Fiction Writer. His 1995 short story, "Moriarty by Modem" made the preliminary Nebula ballot and the final Homer ballot for short stories. He resides in Vevay, Indiana.

Jim Overmeyer ~ Jim is one of our Auctioneers this year as well as a programming participant. He is well known in Detroit and regional fandom as a convention planner and organizer. He is a participant in Detroit and many regional conventions as well as many WorldCons.

Rock N' Roll Starship ~ A video production of Magic House Productions. The campy, irreverent science fiction cult favorite is already a hit among SF fans. The sequel is already in the works. Mark Racop, Producer and Director leads the members of the cast and crew. Scheduled to appear: Mark Racop, Jill Racop, Chuck Budreau, Lynn Schoff, Rob Hinkle, Logan Michaels and Christopher Tracy.

Paula Robinson ~ Ohio fan, author, frequent convention attendee, holds a diploma in writing SF. Her interests include natural medicine, parapsychology and UFOs.

Brian and Karen Roe ~ Detroit fans, longtime convention planners and enthusiastic supporters of Leader Dogs for the Blind. They are the driving force behind Alien Empire, a much awarded internet site of science fiction and fantasy information.

Tom Sadler ~ Long time fan, editor and publisher of The Reluctant Famulus and author of many stories. He is a frequent attendee at many regional conventions and resides in Michigan.

Ron Sarti ~ Author of The Chronicles of Scar Books from Avon Books. Dayton resident, fan, and convention goer. Ron is known for his enthusiastic promotion of SF Fandom and hard work at conventions. His latest book is due out in the Fall of 1998.

Melvin Schmidt ~ Melvin is a life long science fiction fan and convention goer. Familiar to attendees of Midwest conventions.

Linda Stoops ~ Linda is a talented artist, ceramist and fanzine writer from Columbus, Ohio. She is a lifelong science fiction fan and convention goer and can be seen frequently in the region's Hucksters Rooms where she is often a dealer. She is the silent but much appreciated, creative force behind many of MILLENNICON's special awards.

Rob Trimble ~ A Springfield, Ohio resident, Rob will be the instructor for MAGIC Lessons, providing instruction for novice players. He is an accomplished player since 1993, an avid gamer, employed at Dark Star in Yellow Springs and is currently working on a periodical Magic Tournament Guide for South West Ohio that is due to be out in April of 1997.

Derron Whitaker ~ One of the owners of Acme Games, a gamer since age 11, cut his teeth on D & D and wanted to grow up and own a gaming store. He did. He works as an ambassador for 5 Rings Publishing, hosting demonstrations and tourneys for their Legend of the Five Rings ccg.

Cheryl Whitmore Ph.D. ~ Cheryl is the Chairman of the Board for the Miami Valley Fandom for Literacy. A life long science fiction fan, newsletter editor and Praetor of the Romulan Star Empire. She also is an avid collector and is currently working to become a writer in addition to her busy professional life in the mental health field.

Brian Woodward ~ Formerly of USPC, now a freelance game tester and gaming convention promoter and a long time gamer.
